Nehemiah Corporation of America offers an excellent and comprehensive benefits package. Below is a list of the employer paid benefits for which employees may qualify:

403(b) – Retirement Savings Plan

Employees may choose to save pre-tax dollars towards their 403(b) account for retirement. The maximum amount of the contribution an employee can make is determined by federal and state regulations.

Nehemiah Employer Contribution Plan

Nehemiah maintains a retirement plan to supplement an employee’s income upon retirement. At the end of each fiscal year, the Board of Directors determine if a contribution will be made based upon the financial well being of the corporation. The cost of this benefit is paid 100% by Nehemiah. Employees become 100% vested after completing one full fiscal year (July 1-June 30) of service with Nehemiah.

Career Development and Educational Assistance

Nehemiah strongly believes in equipping its employees for their future. Educational assistance of up to $2000 per year is available to further college education, after completing one year of continuous employment. Additional in-house and off-site training is available for employees to provide training in basic and specialized skills for a current position and for future career advancement.

Down Payment Assistance Benefit

Homeownership is important to us at Nehemiah, it is what we are all about. Employees can receive a one-time gift of 3% of the purchase price of their home to use towards a down payment and closing costs, after completing one (1) year of continuous employment. There is a maximum amount to the gift, based on FHA loan limits.
