Lisa Engel
Loan Officer

Ms. Engel serves as a Loan Officer to the Nehemiah Community Reinvestment Fund™. In this position she provides support to the Director of Real Estate and Community Development by sourcing loan opportunities, reviewing and underwriting loan applications, and participating in marketing and outreach.

Ms. Engel joined the staff of Nehemiah Corporation in July 1999 as Community Relations Assistant. During her tenure at Nehemiah, she has filled a variety of different functions including Public Affairs, Government Relations and Marketing. Most recently Ms. Engel managed the Nehemiah Urban Land Trust™ (NULT) a national program of Nehemiah Corporation, which provided support to special needs housing providers.

Ms. Engel received her MS in Community and Regional Development for the University of California, Davis and her BA in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine.

She serves as President of the Board of Directors of the YWCA of Sacramento and is a member of the board of Sacramento Cottage Housing, Inc.
