Scott C. Syphax
Scott Syphax
is the President and CEO of
Nehemiah Corporation of America
(NCA), a Sacramento based
non-profit founded in 1997.
NCC is one of the largest
non-profit community development
organizations in the country.
Previously,
Scott was Manager of Public
Affairs for Eli Lilly & Company.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Science Degree
in Business with an emphasis on Real Estate Development and
Land Use Planning from the California State University, Sacramento.
Syphax is a National Fellow of the Coro National Board of
Governors Association and an Executive Fellow of the Coro
Foundation. Additionally, Scott is a graduate of the Sacramento
Entrepreneurship Academy.
Scott is currently the Chairman of the Financial
Solvency Board for the California State Department of Managed
Health Care, a member of the Board of Trustees for the California
Health Professions Foundation, and Commissioner for the Sacramento
County Civil Service Commission. Mr. Syphax is Past chairman
of both the Sacramento Downtown Partnership and Franklin-Laguna
Planning Advisory Council.
Scott lives in Elk Grove with his wife and
their three children.
