Nehemiah Corporation commits $1 million to Nehemiah Urban Land Trust, Inc. (NULT)

(Sacramento, CA - March 17, 2001) During its annual board retreat, Nehemiah Corporation of California's Board of Directors adopted a resolution committing $1 million to its affiliate non-profit corporation, Nehemiah Urban Land Trust, Inc. (NULT)

NULT will acquire, manage and preserve affordable and special needs housing for low-income families and individuals by housing 501(c)(3) social service agencies. NULT will purchase properties that are presently leased by social service agencies in order to preserve their long-term use and affordability. NULT will also purchase properties for social service agencies that provide housing as a component of their overall social service.
